One of the rumored tablet devices which was going to be available for a price tag of $99 in the US market, has actually made itself available in the Indian market for a bit higher price range, but the specs would not make one feel bad about the pricing, as the Acer Iconia B1 Entry level tablet device with some decent specs has been launched with the pricing of Rs. 7999 in the Indian market.
The Iconia B1 would have a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which is a WSVGA display with a neat output of the content. The tablet device was launched in the CES 2013 event, and it is targeting users of all age groups, who would need a portable device that would help in entertainment on-the-go, and connectivity through the wireless options like Wi-Fi etc. According to its makers, the display of Iconia B1 is going to be quite brighter and 60% better than the previous tablet devices brought out into the market by Acer.
Internally, the tablet is powered by the 1.2GHz dual-core processor from Mediatek which would support some flawless multitasking and heavy app load stability to it, and it is targeted to provide a superior gaming experience. The Iconia B1 is coming with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It has got a front facing camera with the 0.3 megapixel lens, for the video chatting as the primary purpose

Having all the standard connectivity options such as the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 technology and the MicroUSB slot for the USB 2.0 connectivity, the storage of the Iconia B1 is of 8GB internally, and the tablet device has got a MicroSD card slot which can support up to 32GB of external storage if someone wanted a better storage option in the device.
The pricing of Rs. 7999 in the Indian market is a pretty competitive one, because there have been tablet devices with even lesser prices but never were satisfactory with the performance, and Acer in this pricing is promising a good usability, while the next level tablet devices stay in the price range of more than Rs. 15000, which can make the Acer Iconia B1 an easier choice with the decent specs it has got.
