Bored with No Visual changes in the existing twitter apps like on Official twitter app, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck etc.? Not anymore, it was the last time when we reported that very soon Carbon for Android twitter app will be available in Google PLAY Store and now Plume has completely revamped its look and looks no less than an all new twitter app which adheres to the guidelines of Google’s ICS flavor. So, in the due course of this article we will be checking out the same just with a simple tutorial and the screen captures to now more on this all new app.
This all new app called Plume for Android is now dubbed as the release candidate v3.0. This update comes with a host of change log which includes the changes like a dedicated menu screen with a quick list access facility and also to switch over from mentions, timeline, direct messages and Home all you need to do is to just swipe as shown in the below screen captures. All in all this app simply provides a very smooth experience of twitter. Along with this app, you can also mute some notifications and also when it comes to the “Settings”, there are host of other settings which you can choose and customize the way you want it.
Procedure to Install All New Plume RC v3.0 in your Android Smartphone:
- Download the latest Plume 3.00 rc1 – build 30009 APK from here to your computer. Alternatively, you can also download directly in your phone from the mentioned link.
- Once you finish downloading it in the computer, you now need to connect the device to the computer using the USB cable and then need to copy this downloaded apk file to your device and disconnect the USB device from the computer.
- Up next, with the help of file explorer, tap on the placed apk file named as “Plume” to install the same and then tap on “Open” to open the new Plume app after installation. As soon as the installation is done, you will be prompted to tap on the “Open” button. Please note that just in case if it prompts you to select the option of “Unknown Sources” then you need to select the same.
