Moto G is an all new Entry level Android smartphone released by Motorola just couple of days back and unfortunately there’s a small glitch when it comes to the Notification LED as in most of the cases it refuses to work the way it should have been. So, in this article we will be helping you out to fix the same. While there are enough number of applications which promises to notify you about all SMS’es, missed calls and other notifications, but when Motorola has itself come out with a specialized app then wy not use the same as it’s the Official App and not the third party app.
The main glitch is due to the restoring from Google Account to the Moto G Android phone which is a part of the Setup process. This restoring downloads the Apps and Settings from the Google Cloud wherein some cases it restores the LED Setting from another phone which in turn causes the issue of notification error. So, Motorola has come out with an independent app to fix the same and is called as Notification Light Widget in the Google PLAY Store. Notification Light Widget is a tool to enable/disable LED notification light on Android devices. Surprisingly, this app also works on most of the Android Phones with LED notification capability.
Procedure to Fix LED Notification Bug in Moto G:
- Download Notification Light Widget from here to your Moto G Android Phone. Once downloaded and installed in your device, install the same which will replace the required bugs in your device.
- This is a Free to use application and this widget restores the ability to control the light on devices without an exposed setting.
On other android devices which already supports the control of the LED notification light, this widget can be used to enable / disable the LED notification light from the home screen. Do let us know in the comments section if the issue refuses to budge.
