The press photos of the Moto G smartphone are now out, and this is just a day before the Moto G’s official announcement, that is to happen tomorrow. Moto G is going to be announced with a live steam being available to viewers from several countries, thus there is nothing much left until the announcement, but the press leaks do show that the design is quite neat and resembles a bit to the higher end version, the Moto X.
The Moto G is going to be announced officially and soon going to be available, from 13th November but a listing on Amazon UK has already revealed the pricing of the smartphone. Apart from this, the GFX Benchmark list showed this device and it revealed that the Moto G is going to have a 720p display, and there would be a 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 processor with the Adreno 305 GPU. It would be running the Android 4.4. KitKat OS.
The Moto G XT1032 is going to be priced at £160 and the release date is still the same – Nov 13th. It’s just two days from now, so do come back to get to know more about the budget friendly device from Motorola.
Motorola has put up a teaser for its upcoming Android smartphone, the Moto G on a separate website where it says the smartphone would launch on November 13th. The announcement of the smartphone would be live streamed, so that’s good for everyone who wanted to catch the details live. Motorola’s Twitter account gave some indication through different languages, that the smartphone would come to at least these countries – India, Australia, France, Portugal, UK and Spain. Check out the earlier leaks below.
There were some rumors flowing around, about the new Moto G from Motorola, after the Moto X which was launched recently. These rumors now end here as the actual promo of the device is leaked before the festival season, and the Moto G appeared on the company’s website before vanishing again. GSMArena leaked the photo along with the list of specs which make it look like a mid-range smartphone.
According to the leaked promo document, it’s a 4.5-inch 720p display and a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor, a quad-core chipset (earlier Evleaks had mentioned that there is Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 GHz included) and the device is reported to run the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. There would be an internal storage of 8GB and a 5-megapixel camera on the rear side, and a 1.3 megapixel front shooter, while there are quite a few different connectivity options included in the Moto G, but there isn’t any info about the data network. The screen is said to have the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
There is no release date provided yet, but the pricing is said to be set at £135 and that could be a serious entry from Motorola which can challenge to quite a few other smartphones with the similar range of specs. If the past leaks are confirmed, the Moto G could be coming with a 1950 mAh battery and the Dual-SIM connectivity might be true, as well as the customization options for the front and back panels just like it was for the Moto X.
There’s the Xperia Z1 Mini from Sony which has some good specifications for the 4.3-inch screen size of its, and that could be a good choice against the Moto G, but the other Mini versions (HTC One Mini and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini) are no where near these two for the comparison. Surprising to see that there would be no Android 4.4 KitKat version, but let’s see what comes out officially, just in a few days.
