Gionee F105 with 5″ HD Display & 2400mAh Battery Passes through TENAA Certification

Earlier this year, Gionee had unveiled its new F-series by launching two new smartphones called as Gionee F103 and Gionee F303. The Gionee F103 is the first ‘Make in India’ smartphone launched by the company in India priced starting at Rs. 8,499. Today, a new smartphone from the company in its F-series called as Gionee F105 has passed through TENAA certification revealing the key specifications and design of the device.

As per the TENAA listing, the Gionee F105 will feature a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it will come powered by unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128Gb. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo UI out of the box. On the camera section, the device is expected to sport an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5Mp front-facing shooter for video chats and perfect selfie images.

The smartphone will come with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. The dimensions of the handset measure 144 x 71.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs around 155 grams. The handset will come backed by a 2400mAh battery and will come with White and Gold color options. Although the company officially confirms nothing, as TENAA certifies it we can expect the company to launch the Gionee F105 in coming month. A quick recall, Gionee has recently launched the successor of the Marathon M5 called as Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in China priced at 2,499 Yuan ($385). The Marathon M5 Plus is the first smartphone from the company to sport a physical home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. The smartphone features 6-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6753 1.3GHz octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP rear camera with PDAF, 5MP front shooter and 5020mAh battery with Dual Charging chips technology.
