iBall Slide 3G Q81 Tablet with 8″ Display & Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 7,999

The domestic smartphone manufacturer, iBall is known for releasing affordable smartphones and tablets in the sub-continent. Today, the company has launched entry-level voice-calling tablet called as iBall Slide 3G Q81. The tablet is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available for purchase via both offline and online platforms across the country later this month.

Talking about the specifications, the iBall Slide 3G Q81 flaunts an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD IPS display and comes powered by 64-bit Intel Atom X3 quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz. The device comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable to 64GB using a microSD card slot. On the camera part, the tablet sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera without LED flash and a 2MP front-facing snapper for video calling and selfie clicks.

The tablet supports single sim and comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support. The device supports 15 regional languages and also features chambered speaker for enhanced audio quality. The tablet comes backed by a 4000mAh battery that the company claims can last easily for an entire day on mixed usage. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and comes with Blue color option.

A quick recall, iBall has recently launched a new budget-friendly 4G-LTE supported tablet called as iBall Slide Cuddle 4G priced at Rs. 9,999. The tablet features 6.95-inch IPS display, 64-bit MediaTek quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, 8MP primary camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper and 2800mAh battery. The device supports 21 regional languages and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
