LG will be updating its Korean variants of the G2, it announced that it will be rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update by end of this month. With less than 2 week left for this month to end, you will be able to get the news of KitKat rolling out for its flagship very soon, especially for its domestic market. It has neglected to mention about the KitKat update to rest of the world.
The other country in line for this update will most likely be France. The French carrier SFR said that the LG G2 will be updated to KitKat on SFR by December. However there is no conformation on it yet. There is no word on the specifications that LG has planned to roll along with the KitKat. We are going to see few more devices to get this update very soon.
Once this flagship gets the update, it will be enhanced with features like new Hangout message application, smart caller id, enhanced memory, improved voice search, power management, wireless printing and few other features.
The update in the US is involved by the carries, so it would have to pass through them before getting rolled to the devices in the US. There are many users waiting for this update and will be exited to know about this rollout in the market to their device by this month end.
