The Chinese smartphone maker has launched two new smartphones in India today dubbed as Oppo R7 Plus and R7 Lite that are priced at Rs. 29,990 ($452) and Rs 17,990 ($272) respectively. Both the devices will be available from September in Indian market. We already spoke about R7 Plus in detail earlier so let’s check out what R7 Lite offers.
The R7 Lite features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has 16Gb built-in storage and microSd card support for expansion upto 128GB.
It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front shooter with f/2.4 aperture. It supports dual sim dual standby with 4G-LTE connectivity, and other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port with OTG. It comes backed with a 2320mAh non-removable battery offering upto 6 hours on talk time and upto 250 hours on standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 2.1 out of the box.
The device has a vibrant design with full metal uni-body, and its dimensions are 143 x 71 x 6.3 mm and weighs 147 grams. The device will be available in two colors- Gold, Silver.
