WickedLeak has launched the Wammy Ethos Tab 3, the latest Android tablet from the company with the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and some good specifications, and the pricing of the tablet device is set at Rs. 10,990 in the Indian market. Wickedleak is a company that hasn’t made a big mark in the Indian market when it comes to Android devices, but they are trying their luck this time with the Wammy Ethos Tab 3, which is going to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The 7-inch display in the Ethos Tab 3 has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, and internally it is powered by a Quad-core processor clocking at 1.2 GHz and there is a support by 1GB of RAM for the multitasking. This tablet would face quite some competition because it is not just Micromax, Samsung and known brands launching tablets in the 7-inch range, but we even saw one of the brands Swipe too coming up with a budget tablet device with the Dual SIM and voice calling – MTV Slash 4X. Moreover, with the similar specifications, this one is priced a little less than the Ethos Tab 3.
The Wammy Ethos Tab 3 has got a 5-megapixel rear camera with the flash, and there is a 2-megapixel front facing camera too for the video calling. The tablet device has the Dual SIM support along with the 3G connectivity and the voice calling capability. One SIM card would support the 3G connectivity with the video calling while the other GSM SIM would have the 2G network connectivity. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, and one can expand the storage to a maximum of 32GB with the MicroSD card support. The battery included in the tablet has a capacity of 3500 mAh.
