Android tablets have been evolving along with the ecosystem, in large. With tablets pumping into the market in multiple categories, tablets based on Android 4.0 and above have played a major role in increasing the Android market share. WickedLeak had been trying to do just the same with their 2 budget tablets that they released last October. Now they have launched its newest tablet, known as the Wammy Magnus.
It has a full sized 10.1 inch capacitive touch screen, which is a IPS panel with pixel dimensions of 1280×800. The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and can also be upgraded to Android 4.2. Under the hood the tablet is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor and comes along with 2GB of DDR3 RAM ensuring a very stable and smooth user experience. It also has a Power VR SGX544 Graphic processing unit consisting of 8 cores. The Wammy Magnus comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 32GB via the use of a microSD card. It supports videos up to 4k resolution (Ultra HD 4096 x 2160 video decoding). Wammy Magnus has a 2MP rear camera with auto focus that can record videos at 720p. It also has a 0.3MP front facing camera which can be used for video calling. Coming to the connectivity options it has WiFi and external 3G, and comes with a Mini USB port , Mini HDMI and a microSD card slot. The lack of in built WiFi capability could be factor to consider for potential customers.
