Qihoo 360, popularly known for the 360 Security app, debuted the overcrowded smartphone market last year with the launch of Qiku branded handsets. Recently, the company has also rebranded itself from Qiku to 360. Today, the company has launched its first smartphone under its 360 branding called as 360 F4 in China. This is the same smartphone that was also earlier spotted on TENAA. The handset features decent mid-range specifications accompanied with a beautiful design targeting basically the youth. The 360 F4 is priced at 599 Yuan (approx $92 / Rs. 6,150) for the 2GB RAM version while the 3GB variant costs 799 Yuan (approx $123 / Rs. 8,200).
Talking about the specifications, the 360 F4 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density and comes equipped with 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with ARM Mali-T720 GPU. The device features hybrid sim slot that lets you microSD card instead of the second dim. The smartphone comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of built-in storage and also includes an externalSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF for quick focus and a 5MP front with f/2.0 aperture snapper for video calling and crisp selfie images. Both the cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps and also feature various camera modes for capturing all the beautiful moments. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG functionality.
The 360 F4 sports premium looks with all-metal unibody design and also includes a 360-degree supported fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The handset powers a 2500mAh battery that the company claims has the energy to last for an entire day on a single charge. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based 360 OS overlaid out of the box. The device measure just 4.86 mm thickness at its edges and feels light in hand weighing 128 grams.The smartphone comes in White, Black, Gold, Pink and Blue color options.
