I’ve had experience with a lot of the apps out there to watch TV, none of them ever gave to me the full TV Everywhere experience. Before I got my own iPad, I borrowed my cousins while I was at him house and connected it to his DirecTV app, I couldn’t leave the home network and really could only us it as a remote. Once I got my own iPad2, I connected it to my DISH Remote Access app which is a free download, I love this thing. I can stream any and all of my channels, as well as have complete access to the DVR. What’s best about this, and something I know since I work for DISH that other providers can’t do, is that I can do all of this as well as schedule recordings from anywhere in the world. I’m not tied down to the home network.
