Archos hasn’t ended their tablet campaign with Archos 97 Carbon, but something big is expected from Archos as they hint for the Generation Next tablet. Archos 101 XS is the tablet that we are talking about and it could well be a competitor of Asus Padfone.
Archos 101 XS
Going through the specifications of the Archos 101 XS, it includes 10.1 inches display screen providing a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Many more tablets have been launched in the 7 inches form factor but Archos thinks the other way. The tablet includeas a built in keyboard dock so called Coverboard which is attached to the tablet’s body magnetically. The coverboard is seen with full QWERTY keypad layout which allows the tablet to be held at a position.
101 XS is powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and it will be updated to the Google’s latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in October. Its equipped with 16 Gb of internal memory storage capacity which is very much enough and if you think this is less for you then you can add a micro SD card through the micro SD card slot to expand the storage further. The phone is seen with 1.3 mega pixel camera on the rear side which allows you to take photos and the device is thin and light weight as it weights 1.3 pounds and has thickness of 0.31 inches.
