We have already seen quite a few low to mid-end Android smartphones in the recent past from Celkon, and the latest one from the company is the Celkon Campus A15 Android smartphone that comes with the 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, and runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Recently, they had come up with the Campus A10 which had a little higher pricing but that supported 3G connectivity. The A15 is priced a bit lesser and thus you won’t be seeing a 3G connectivity as it is limited to 2G EDGE connectivity, and it’s a Dual-SIM device with two GSM SIM network connectivity.
The Celkon Campus A15 internally sports a 1 GHz dual-core processor and that is backed by a low 256 MB of RAM and the user available memory is 165MB with the actual ROM being 512MB, and the users can expand that to 32GB with the MicroSD card. There’s a rear camera included, with the 3.2-megapixel lens and the device has got a battery capacity of 1400 mAh. The device is said to come with a lot of pre-loaded content and interactive games and there’s an app called Zapya which would help the users to share their content by shaking their phone.
Available in the white color, the Campus 15 from Celkon is priced at Rs. 3,999 and the device would be available in both the online and offline stores from today itself. For that price point, one can easily go for this device if they are trying out an Android device and didn’t want to spend much initially. Check out below for the various specifications of the device:
