Datawind Aakash/Ubislate vs BSNL T-Pad Tablet Device Specs Comparison

We bashed the Aakash tablet, we reviewed it and we still aren’t satisfied in any way by the Aakash tablet. Now to make things worse for Datawind, the Indian govt. telecom service Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has come up with the tablet devices which definitely hold better specifications and are going to beat the Aakash and its successor.

Aakash vs Tpad

Below we have given two comparisons, both of which have the BSNL T-Pad in common. The first comparison is with the 1st version of Aakash, which we reviewed and is for Rs. 2500, while the next comparison is between the T-Pad and the Ubislate+, the next version from Datawind which is yet to launch, although the pre-ordering has been there since months.

    Dear Reviewer,

Your comparison seems to be incomplete here. BSNL device you are talking about doesn’t have call / SIM / GPRS facility unlike Ubislate 7+. That makes a lot of difference. Because Wifi spots are not available in many parts of the country. Without proper internet access, the device would be just a player. I don’t understand why BSNL or PENTAL made such a stupid mistake. They should have added those facility and a little hike in price, then the device would sell like cake.

Please count every factor when comparing devices and its utilities. Otherwise this would mislead people.

T-pad is not manufactured by BSNL. it is manufactured by noida based Pantel technologies.BSNL is a telecom service provider. That means you can have access to net through BSNL broadband on that device.

Ubislate7+( upgraded Aakash) has no competition from any of the T-Pads. the T-Pads offer internet connectivity only through Wifi, while Ubislate7+ offers connectivity both through WiFi and GPRS. any tablet is successful only if it gives the user feedom of anywhere internet access. that only Ubislate7+ provides.

Ubislate’s Cortex A8 processor is twice faster than Arm-11 of the T-Pads.
