Also, download and install the ROM Manager app from the PLAY Store so that you can then enter your device in the recovery mode from this app.

Procedure to Install Android 4.2 Default Apps in your Android Device:

  • Now, after placing the zip file, disconnect the device from the computer and open the ROM Manager app from the Google PLAY Store to select the option of “reboot into recovery mode” for booting the device in the recovery mode.
  • Now, in recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” to select the Jellybean 4.2 Apps Package which you have earlier placed in your device. Once the zip file is selected, it will take around 3 -4 minutes for updating with the same. Please note that it may take longer time in some cases.

Tip: Just in a rare case if the device doesn’t boot up or show the home screen then remove the battery and reinsert the same to boot the device again in the normal mode.
