Gionee Elife E7 Availability & Price
The smartphone isn’t going to be available already, and the company says that the official availability would be from October 5th in China, while the Elife E7 would hit the other markets in the early 2014. The different colors in which the Elife E7 is coming with, include black, white, pink, blue, green, yellow and orange. The pricing too is not announced as of now.
It’s not long ago when Gionee had launched their flagship Gionee Elife E6 smartphone, but the details about the next best are already coming out, with the Gionee Elife E7, and this is supposedly going to come with the latest best processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is a part of some of the best smartphones in the market – LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (US variant), Sony Xperia Z1.
The event for the launch of the Elife E7 is going to be held on November 26th in Shanghai Film Museum in China. The CEO of Gionee, Lu Weibing, said on a Weibo page that the Gionee Elife E7 would be powered by a faster Qualcomm 8974AC quad-core chip which would clock speeds at 2.5 GHz. Lately, the brands which are yet to make the big impacts internationally, have been including the high-end processors, as Xiaomi had released the Xiaomi Mi3 with the Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.3 GHz.
According to a few rumors, the Elife E7 is going to be a phablet rather than a normal-sized smartphone, and the screen size is expected to be 6.1-inch and the screen resolution would be 2560×1600 pixels, so Gionee isn’t keeping anything less on detail if this happens to be true. It could be running either the Android 4.2 or 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and there should be a 13-megapixel rear + 5-megapixel front camera combination, and the Amigo interface would be something continued from the Elife E6, although we weren’t totally impressed with that.
The price is hinted to be somewhere around 3,299 yuan, which is somewhere around Rs. 34000, and that is pretty high considering the brand but Gionee hasn’t been doing anything bad. The launch date is 26th Nov for the Chinese market, and we would get to know soon when it would be coming to the other markets, especially in the Indian market where the Elife E6 did receive a lot of appreciation.
