Gionee has been launching its handsets in India and few days back we have seen the company launching the Gionee CTRL V5 Smart Phone in India in the V series. Now the Gionee P2S handset is available in India from the official Gionee India online store. This Gionee P2S is the successor of the Gionee P2 that was launched earlier. The handset has a 4 inch display and it is also a dual SIM variant with dual standby.
The Gionee P2S has a 4 inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. The Gionee P2S is powered by an unknown dual core processor clocking at 1.4 GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. The device is a dual SIM variant with dual standby and has a 1600 mAh battery on the back to power the handset.
The Gionee P2S has a 5 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a VGA (0.3 MP) front facing camera. The on-board memory of the device is at 4 GB that can be further extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The connectivity option includes, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. There is the normal a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.
