Gionee has launched the Gionee CTRL V5 Smart phone in India included in its V-series. This device is priced at Rs. 12,999 and available from the company’s online store. However the cash on delivery option is not available for the customers right now but the payment option is available via credit card and debit card. This Gionee CTRL V5 is the successor of the Gionee CTRL4 that was launched last year in the month of June.
The Gionee CTRL V5 flaunts a 4.7 inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) IPS display and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating system. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582V) processor, coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. There is an 1800 mAh battery on the back of the device to power it. The device is a dual SIM variant (GSM + GSM) with dual Standby.
The Gionee CTRL V5 has an 8 MP Autofocus rear facing camera with LED flash and it is accompanied with a 2 MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. The connectivity option of the device includes 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro-USB and GPS. The on-board memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be further extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The device has the dimensions of 134.5×67.7×8.07mm and weights 103.5 grams.
