Add files Odin - Galaxy Gio

• As soon as you feed in the files, you will have to double check the same and then you will have to proceed and click on the “Start” option to start the firmware update process. When you getyo the error after you pushed the Volume Down button + the Home key button (the middle button)= RAMDUP mode (ARM9 mode), then just start over, but the important thing is, DON’T pull out the data cable, just turn it off after you got to the main screen, and try then, but just dont pull out the data cable

I am facing the same problem after installing the firmware. The flash is not working on the browsers. Can you please suggest a way out? One of the major reasons to change my firmware was the flash 10.3. If that is not working then there is no point ti move from 2.2. to 2.3.

• Reply NeaL Pradeep August 17, 2011 at 9:48 am

as of now due to some issues the flash is not working, but as soon as there is some way then we will surely update with the same!

hello, neal,I’ve confirgured the APN settings already and I can use 3g to access the internet. But,my wifi is still not working and so is the bluetooth. Also another thing, the phone auto rotates by itself and it doesn’t rotate the right way.when it rotates,it always in landscape and facing the wrong side of the screen.

I’ve tried *#526# and it tells me that I don’t have drivers for the wifi.any workarounds you could inform me about?

I posted it again here in case you don’t get the reply above. Thanks too much neal.

Thanks for the answer.
Another thing, just noticed today that i skipped the final step pf the tutorial.
For this you will have to first turn off your device, long press the volume up key, press Menu as holding both the buttons press the power button to start. You can see that after device gets switched ON, you will find options like clear cache data. You can clear that by selecting options Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition after which you need to reboot your device by selecting reboot system now after which your Galaxy S will be rebooting and again you will have to set up your Google accounts etc. Doing this will not only optimize the battery but will also remove all the data flux from your phone. Please note that the image shown below is just for the reference purpose, the actual image may vary.
I forgot to this yesterday, just did it and none of those options appear on my screen. The only thing that comes up is: RAMDUMP Mode (ARM9 Mode).
What does this means?

Cheers

You+re in luck my friend — at least you obtained some garbled (?), confusing info, i wasn’t as lucky: followed religiously all the good advices hereby produced, using the seemingly correct ingredients and obtained NOTHING (except for a destroyed WI-FI capacity). Everything went accordingly descriptions up to the download mode, which stated on a stitched-like rectangle: Emergency DLoad (sic)Mode, and no droid logo image at all, but once the ODIN 4.42 COM mapping turned yellowish i clicked START and quietly waited for30 minutes and NOTHING happened: no PASS appeared — zilch| I aborted the act
by brute force clicking the far above right X tab and dismissed the whole gimmick. After rebooting verifyed everything was exactly as before no gains and jusy one loss (already referred!) and i bid my farewell to hereby promoted “upgrades”.
