Huawei Ascend P1 S Slimmest Android Phone- Specs & Features

First producing low cost Android phone with interesting features and lovely design. The Huawei Technologies is now coming up with a phone with high end specifications and the buzz is it will be the world’s slimmest Android smartphone. This phone announcement comes as a surprise from CES 2012 launches.

Huawei will announce Ascend P1 S Android phone soon which will feature an amazing 4.3 inches Super AMOLED qHD display screen with Gorilla Glass screen at 960 x 540 pixel resolution. With screen size set to 6.68 inches it easily beats the thin Motorola Droid Razr. Huawei was just available to announce this handset and said that it will debut in April 2012.

Huawei Ascend P1 S

This is the first time that Huawei will be launching such high-end Android smartphone. The specification of Ascend P1 S includes the TI OMAP 4460 processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz to make it faster and most compact handset. Along with that it will feature the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich overlay and include the currently trending 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash and auto focus on the rear side along with 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera. The camera provides a full HD video recording at 1080p and to share digital rich content you can make use of HDMI connectivity and DLNA feature. The internet connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. It will be with 4 GB internal storage to provide storage on phone locally and 1 GB of RAM is also added to the specifications. Battery specifications includes 1800 mAh battery. With such a cracker of specifications, Huawei Acend P1 S will come big.

Additionally in the same series of handsets, Huawei also announces Ascend P1 which comes with the same specifications except the thickness is at 7.9 mm and battery specifications stands at 1670 mAh. So two new devices from Huawei are coming up and both are high-end smartphones ready to compete with Samsung Galaxy phones or atleast HTC phones. I am sure Huawei will keep the price in check so as to make it budget friendly as they have did it earlier with Ideos X2, X5 phones which users find affordable.

For the customers who love to choose colors there will have the options to choose form metallic black, ceramic white, cherry blossom pink in Europe and it will be available in Asia Pacific, North America, Australia, Middle East and debut in China very first is likely. So we are eagerly awaiting this device hands-on, are you?

Do check out the various other Android devices scheduled to be launched at CES 2012.
