The affordable Huawei Ascend Y530 is now launched in the UK market, after its official announcement in January. The device was going to first enter the German market in March, but Huawei managed to launch it prior to the MWC 2014 where it is planning to come up with a few announcements. The pricing set for the Ascend Y530 is $250 (£149.95) SIM-free. Of course there’s the Moto G competing it already with a price of 10 pounds lesser, but Huawei has done quite a lot of improvements to the Interface with a new Simple Android Interface that would make it easier for people to use and give a stress-free experience to the users.
It would be available in the Black and White options and there are a few stores which have already started selling this smartphone. Check below for the specifications of the device.
Earlier: Huawei Ascend Y530 Announced in Europe with Android 4.3
Huawei has included another affordable Smart Phone in its Huawei Ascend list, dubbed as Ascend Y530. The company announced that this handset will be available soon and will be successor to its Ascend Y300 and Ascend Y511 Smart phones that were released last year. This device will be running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s own User Interface (UI) on top and will be available for $200.
The Ascend Y530 will feature a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200, MSM8210 processor that was used in the Sony’s latest handset, Xperia E1 and it will be coupled with a 512 MB RAM and will be running on Android 4.3 . Ascend Y530 has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 MP, VGA camera on its front for video calling and selfies. The device has an on board memory of 4 GB and it can be extended with the micro SD card.
Ascend Y530 has the connectivity’s like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and HSDPA. There is a 1750 battery placed at its back to power the device. This Smart phone weights 145 grams and has the dimensions of 132.5 x 67 x 9.3. The design seen in this device is new, with the image showing us two color design.

With the EMUI, the user can create up to nine different screens and the apps are stored directly on the home screen. The device will be available in four versions, with top and bottom of the device coming in Red, Yellow, White and Grey and the rest of the body remains black. Ascend Y530 will be released in Germany, and will be available in March for $200 (149 Euros). As per the company’s claim the device is targeted at young users.
