Intex has officially unveiled the Intex Aqua i6 Android smartphone, which has got some good specifications and internal powering, but the company has decided to make the competition fierce, with the pricing set at Rs. 8990, which would be pretty good for a quad-core processor that is included in it. The Intex Aqua i6 comes with a 5-inch display that has a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
The internal configuration provided in the smartphone is – quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 processor, Mali 400MP2 GPU and a 512MB of RAM. The RAM should have been at least 1 GB as the users who see a powerful processor would need a good RAM to take advantage of both together for the multitasking. There is an inbuilt storage of 4GB, and the expandable storage is up to 32GB with the MicroSD card support.
The smartphone sports two cameras, the rear one being a 8-megapixel shooter with the flash and on the front there is a 2-megapixel camera. The phone packs in a 1900 mAh battery which can last up to 6 hours on voice calling, and the standby time of up to 220 hours. This is a Dual-SIM phone just like most of the other Intex devices, and it has the GSM+GSM support.

The Aqua i6 from Intex is supposedly going to compete the Karbonn Titanium S2 and the Mi-515 from Spice but the pricing is where the Intex smartphone might take a lead. The company had recently launched the Intex Aqua i7 which had a full HD display, 2GB of RAM and was priced at Rs. 21990, to compete with the likes of Gionee Elife E6 and the Micromax Canvas 4.
