Earlier, iBall launched the Andi Avonote 5 that features an innovative 8MP 180-degree rotating camera at an affordable price tag of Rs. 5,999. Today, the domestic smartphone maker, Intex has released a pocket-friendly camera-centric smartphone called as Intex Aqua Twist. The smartphone is aggressively priced at Rs. 4,999 and is now available for purchase via a third party online retailer HomeShop 18. Along with the Aqua Twist, today a new low-end smartphone in the Cloud series called as Intex Cloud Force has been listed on the company’s official website. The Cloud Force is also priced at Rs. 4,999 and will go on sale in the country soon.

Intex Aqua Twist

The Aqua Twist flaunts a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display with 189ppi as pixel density, and Gorilla Glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek MT6580m quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and includes essential connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and lacks 4G-LTE support. The device comes with 8GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB.

The main USP of the smartphone is its camera; it sports a 5MP twist camera with OmniVision OV5648 sensor and LED flash that can be used as both primary/secondary shooter to capture all the beautiful moments. The handset comes backed by a 2200mAh battery that can last upto 18 hours of talk time and upto 275 hours of standby time. The smartphone also comes with smart iData Saver that control’s the data consumption upto 50%. The device looks stylish in hand with textured finish back panel and is available in Black and White color variants. The dimensions of the handset measure 144 x 72 x 8.4 mm and weighs around 175 grams.
Intex Cloud Force

The Cloud Force features a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and comes equipped with 64-bit Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-400 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 port and lacks 4G-LTE support.
On the camera front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling and selfie images. It powers a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can last upto 9.30 hours of talk time and upto 250 hours of standby time. It comes pre-loaded with many bloatware apps like Matrabhasha, FOTA, Follo, Newshunt, 360 security and many more. The dimensions of the handset measure 145.3 x 72 x 9.5 mm weighs around 158 grams and comes in Dark Grey & White color options.
