Ivvi i3 with All-New Snapdragon 430 SoC, 4GB RAM & 13MP Camera Launched in China

Ivvi, the sub-brand of Coolpad is known for launching smartphones with the super thin profile. The company has earlier released a device called as Ivvi K1 Mini and is touted as the world’s slimmest smartphone measuring just 4.7mm thickness. Now, the brand has launched a new smartphone called as Ivvi i3 in China. The smartphone is no exception as it also comes with a slim profile measuring just 4.2 mm thickness at its edges and 6.55 mm thickness at the centre. The Ivvi i3 sports powerful specifications and will be targeted towards the youth.

Talking about the specifications, the Ivvi i3 flaunts a 5.2-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD AMOLED display offering a pixel density of 244ppi and 2.5D arc glass laid on top. Under the hood, it comes powered by all new 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. It is the world’s first device to pack the new Snapdragon 430 SoC. It features hybrid sim slot that lets you use the second sim card slot as the microSD card slot when required. It has 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB built-in storage options and also includes an externalSD card option for further expansion of memory upto 128GB.

On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera with PDAF for quick focus, LED flash and an 8MP front-facing snapper for video chats and stunning selfie images. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Ivvi 2.0 UI out of the box. It includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2450mAh battery that also supports Quick Charging technology.

It features beautiful looks with an all-metal body and also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit that can unlock the device in just 0.1 seconds. The Ivvi i3 is priced at 2,299 Yuan (approx $355 / Rs. 23,600) for the 32GB variant, the 64GB version costs 2,499 Yuan (approx $386 / Rs. 25,900 and the premium 128GB variant is priced at 2,799 Yuan (approx $432 / Rs. 28,700). The smartphone is already up for registrations and will go on sale starting April 19th in China. The company as of now is just limited to the Chinese market, but it has recently announced to expand to other markets starting SouthEast Asia. Stay tuned!
