The domestic handset maker, Karbonn is known for launching affordable smartphones. Recently, the brand has officially launched a budget-friendly smartphone in its all new Quattro series called as Karbonn Quattro L50 HD.The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby with 4G-LTE connectivity. The device is priced at Rs. 7,990 and is available via both online and offline platforms across the country.
Coming to its specifications part, the Karbonn Quattro L50 HD features 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering 294ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes equipped with unknown 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The smartphone comes backed by a 2600mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 8 hours of talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Kandy UI 1.0 out of the box.
The main highlight of the smartphone is it sports a 13MP primary camera with PDAF for quick focus, Blue f/2.0 aperture and LED flash to capture beautiful images. It also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. On the front, it has a 5MP snapper for video chats and selfie lovers. The 4G-LTE enabled device includes basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The dimensions of the handset measure 141 x 71 x 8.8 mm weighs around 134 grams and comes in colors- Blue, Grey and Coffee.
A quick recall, Karbonn has recently launched a low-end smartphone under its K9 series called as Karbonn K9 Smart priced at Rs. 3,990. The K9 Smart comes equipped with a multi-lingual keypad with 21 languages support and allows the users to access various apps like YouTube, Whatsapp, Facebook and Google Maps in their own local language. The device also gives you the option to update the contacts in 11 regional languages and also read the news, magazines and enjoy the cricket scores in Cricbuzz in 6 different languages.
