As we see many more devices are been launched with more than 5 inches display screen, LG Optimus Vu which was announced during the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, is about to made its first footstep in United States to be available under the brand name as LG Intuition.
LG Intuition is the replay to the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 in the competition of large display smart phone which are commonly referred as the phablets as they don’t fall in the category of smart phone or the tablet PC. Going through the specifications, it has same specifications of the internationally available Optimus Vu with 5 inches IPS panel display screen and powered with 1.5 Ghz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor alongside with 1 GB of RAM. The screen is so designed to provide an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, which is something different from any usual smart phone.
Going further to the specifications of the devices, it’s seen sported with 8 mega pixel camera on the rear side which allows users to go through 1080p HD video recording and taking splendid picture capture. It’s sported with 32 GB of internal memory storage capacity and unlike Samsung Galaxy S III this has only one model of internal storage variant. It’s introduced with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which was launched by Google last year.
Alongside with the introduction of ICS, it brings the new user interface and introduces new features like face unlock, exclusive data management and lot more. Since Android is powered by Google, the device comes with pre installed apps like Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa integration, Google + integration and importantly Google Play Store. At Google Play Store one can easily browse, download and purchase thousands of Android applications available for free and paid download which covers various niche like games, apps, widgets and tools.
Last but not the least, the exciting thing about Optimus Vu is that it’s the first phablet to hit the Verizon in United States. Finally if you are thinking that keeping a 5 inches phone in your smart phone is too much for your pocket, then you should check out by visiting the nearest retailer whether it fits accordingly in your pocket.
