Our First Impression on LG G65 at MWC 2014 (Inputs from Chetan Bhawani)
The LG L65 was one of the very easily ignored devices in the big list of devices that were showcased by not just LG but the other brands too , at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona. The L65 looked very sleek, neat and light in the hand, and the best part of it was the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS running in it. The KitKat OS is majorly seen in the flagship devices of the various brands, but LG took a step ahead to include it in the budget phones too. We loved the way the phone responded to the Knock Code functionality where tapping at four set places on the screen would unlock the screen.
The other noticeable good features in the device, included the Plug and Pop, QuickMemo and the Guest Mode apart from the other standard features that LG provides in most of its latest Android smartphones. We couldn’t find any details about the front camera, but the 5-megapixel rear shooter wasn’t that good either. We were at least happy that the LG L65 had the LED flash assistance to the camera for a bright capture in low light conditions. The front bottom touch buttons were responsive, but surprisingly LG chose to remove the physical buttons in this device, while retaining that in the LG L70 and the L40 devices.
