Earlier this month, three LYF branded mid-range smartphones called as LYF Earth 1, LYF Water 1 and LYF Water 2 were listed on Reliance Retail and are currently available for purchase on the market. Today, an entry-level smartphone from LYF called as LYF Wind 6 has been spotted in an online store HomeShop 18 priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone comes with all the basic specifications with VoLTE and VoWiFi support.
Talking about the specifications, the LYF Wind 6 comes with 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 294ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes equipped with Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with Adreno 304 GPU for the lag free performance of the device. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and crisp selfie images. The smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The handset powers a 2250mAh battery that has the energy to last upto 8 hours of talk time. The dimensions of the plastic build device measure 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm weighs around 156 grams and comes in Black and White color options. The LYF Wind 6 is currently sold via a third-party website that is also offering one-year extra manufacturer warranty, LYF Carry Bag and Gift Vouchers worth Rs. 6,500 along with the smartphone.

The smartphone features 4.5-inch FWVGA display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 4G-LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
