Earlier:
A few more rumors have been spreading about the Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 smartphone, and these include the 5-inch full HD display, and this would be the first Indian manufacturer to come up with a Full HD display, while there is a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T chipset under the hood, along with 357MHz GPU and 1GB of RAM. As far as the specs are concerned, they are high-end but not the best for the current market.
Everything is still as expected, with a 13-megapixel shooter on the rear side with the LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, and the Turbo will have the Dual-SIM functionality.
Earlier:
It’s just this company which might have got a good market share, but hasn’t come up with a device that has a Full HD display, but now the newscaster from the company has posted on Twitter that it is working on the first Full HD device, the Micromax Canvas Turbo, A250 which would get the powering by a 1.5 GHz Quad-core processor.
The latest best devices from Micromax were the Canvas 4 A210 and the Canvas Doodle 2 A240, and both of them came with the HD display having a 720p resolution. Now, with the entry of Canvas Turbo in the near future, would the Indian brands competing Micromax come up with similar products soon? we’ll get to see only after Micromax makes the devices official. The size of the display is unknown as of now, but it’s for sure that it would have the 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution. The processor that the device would sport, is the 1.5 GHz Quad Core MT6589T Processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU clocked at 357 MHz.
The device is said to come with the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS, and that is the same version with which the two other recent high-end devices from Micromax were launched. Apart from these, rest is all rumors which include the 13-megapixel rear camera with the LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera which one of the competitor Gionee Elife E6 has got.
By the looks of what is coming in the device, it’s the Elife E6 which would see it as a competitor, as the latter has got a 1080p display, the 13MP & 5MP camera combo and a quad-core processor. As of now we would have to rely on the MMXNews Twitter feed and believe it because that’s the only source leaking the details about the Canvas Turbo. We could be seeing the announcement any time soon because the Elife E6 is already launched and available.
