Panasonic Eluga Pure is a new budget-friendly device from Panasonic which has been announced in Taiwan for NT$ 4,990 (approx $165). The handset will come with a brushed polycarbonate body on the rear and will be coming in Grey color option. There is no information on the Global launch of the device, and the device is currently going for pre-order in the country and shipping will be starting from 27th of March. The handset also comes with the Panasonic Smart App, by which the user can control the other Panasonic products like Smart TV, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, and more.
Panasonic Eluga Pure comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display resolutions with a 2.5D glass. The handset is claimed to lower the blue light that can be harmful to the user’s eyes. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.25GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded using the MicroSD card slot. The device will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the FitHome UI laid on top. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
Coming to the camera, the device sports a 13MP sensor on the rear with LED flash and is accompanied with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. On the bottom, we can see the speaker with ‘Eluga’ logo on top of it. There is 2,900mAh battery on the back to power the handset which will easily last an entire day on normal usage.
