While every manufacturer is back of coming out with a waterproof and dust proof tablet or phone, Toshiba has certainly decided to come out with all the phones being waterproof. Juniper Systems and SDG Systems have comes up with a rugged tablet PC named RAMPAGE 6 in the market. But wait a minutes, as this is just the announcement and the device will be available in the third quarter of 2012. Rampage 6 comes with a 5.7 inches display screen and as such this doesn’t actually come in the tablet or smartphone sizes but still we included this in tablets section. The tablet also receives the approved IP 7 and IP 5 certification as the tablet is both water proofed and dust proof. As we see in the body this also comes with the rugged proof body. The tablet would be powered with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and as its with the Google powered OS, it comes with free pre installed applications like Gmail, Picasa, YouTube, Google browser, Google Talk, Google Maps, Google Places, Google Navigation, Google Latitude, Google + and other services. Also users can synchronize their email accounts whether they use Yahoo, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Hotmail, LinkedIn, MySpace very easily and support is also included for Microsoft Exchange as well.

The tablet is powered with 806 Mhz processor and includes 256 MB of RAM along with a flash memory of 4GB in total. Additionally it sports SD card slot supporting 32 GB of storage via micro SD card and comes with a USB host, headphone jack, 9 pin connectors and for the internet access it has Wi Fi along with Bluetooth connectivity to accept the Bluetooth tethered connections. Rampage 6 might see a variant in the for of Geo and it would include GPS capabilities along with 3.2 mega pixel camera. So certainly this phone is for those users who are always active in their life and have chances that they might play with the smartphones.
