Samsung Galaxy W Announced with Galaxy S Looks

Samsung Galaxy WJust a week awaits the widely talked Samsung UnPacked event held on September 1, 2011 at Berlin, Germany. For those who are aware what is Samsung UnPacked? It’s an event where Samsung Mobile unveils new mobile development. It remained surprise what would be unpacked on that day but it’s expected that Galaxy M Pro is in for the launch and maybe newly announced Galaxy W along with Galaxy Y and Y Pro would be available for the event.

The Samsung Galaxy W which is just announced looks like the famous Galaxy S mobile phone in terms of design. It has got impressive 3.7 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a maximum resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The screen is provided with accelerometer, proximity sensor for auto turn off and multi-touch input for multiple simultaneous functions.

Samsung Galaxy W features Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system powered by Google and its power packed with 1.4 G Hz single core processor. It’s a 3 G mobile phone supporting 7.2 Mbps speed with HSDPA connectivity and the data connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

It includes a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and secondary VGA camera for video chat and voice calls. It includes a 4 GB internal memory and the expandable memory can be of up to 32 GB using the microSD card slot. It has music player with SoundAlive, 3.5 mm headset jack and FM Radio with RDS. The video player supports HD video playback along with recording at 30 fps.

The handset weights 111 grams and has 11.55 mm thickness. Powered by 1500 mAh standard battery which provides a complete day battery backup with normal usage. The Galaxy W would be announced along with other three mobile during the Samsung UnPacked event to be held on September 1, 2011 in Germany and you can watch live streaming on your mobile phone using the UnPacked Android App for free.
