Tutorial to Install Default Jellybean 4.2 Camera in Any Android Device Download Apk

4.2 LogoFreshly brewed Android 4.2 is now Official as you can not only download the SDK and Jellybean 4.2 port but also the you can now install various stock applications of Jellybean 4.2 right in your Android smartphone. Please note that for installing the new Gesture based Android 4.2 keyboard, you will have to make sure that your device is rooted and to check the same you will have to download the “Root Checker” app from the Google PLAY Store. So, let’s get started with a simple tutorial which will help you to install this all new amazing photo sphere camera in your Android smartphone. This port of Camera app will only work on the advanced Gingerbread 2.3 firmwares and on all the devices which are rooted on ICS 4.0+ firmwares.

Procedure to Install Amazing Photo Sphere camera in your Android smartphone:

  • Before you proceed Enable the USB Debugging Option from the path “Settings > Development Options” and also make sure that your device is left with the minimum of 30% battery charge or else your Android device might just get turn Off in the middle of firmware update.
  • Now, download the Jellybean 4.2 Camera APK in your computer and place the same in your device to open and install the same. Just in case if this method fails, you will have to proceed to the next step.

Photosphere

  • Download Jellybean 4.2 Camera Zip Package from here to your computer and place the same in your device so as to flash the same in the recovery mode. Just in case if you are not well versed on the method to enter your device in the recovery mode, you can make use of “ROM Manager” app which can be downloaded from the Google PLAY Store to enter your device in the recovery mode.

    hi i accidentally uninstalled my camera apk after rooting my samsung galaxy y s6102
    later i tried to apply a mod apk thru recovery mode but it says that \installation aborted\
    pls help me out

      you will have to be on the rooted firmware

    I install 4.2Camera.zip from recovery but this camera and gallery is not worked.If i want open those app it shows force close error.I have samsung Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300. Now i want to uninstall those app but it is not possible from task manage.Please tell me how to uninstall those apps.

      if your original camera is replaced you need to flash your stock rom again (google this) but if its not replaced you can search how to delete system files.

    Flashed this on my rooted Galaxy S2 (i9100) running CM10. The video recording doesn’t work and neither does the photo sphere. Photo Sphere says that my phone is not yet supported. No point in flashing this since it doesn’t work properly.

      try downloading root explorer…
      once downloaded open this app.. go to system > app > then u will find thn u will find all ur system apps there.. scroll down and look for the 4.2 gallery app there..long press on it and hit delete..and the gallery and cam apo will be gone

    The first link is meant to be for the apk but it is the 4.2 zip file and the link for the zip is for the 4.2 keyboard. Its still not fixed..
    Be honest and post my messaje.

    cant install, tried to update by flashing still failed… what will I do? My phone is currently on 4.1.2 and is pre rooted. Is this the problem maybe?

    Pleassee tell me for unrooted phones. ROM Manager asking for ROOT the Device.

    Pls send link of good apk for UNROOTED devices.

    Neither file is the camera app – the ONLY APK in both files is the gallery. Do NOT install. This is a fake.
