    Hi there,
I have downloaded ‘Jellybean 4.3.1 Android Zip Package’ but can’t download ‘Google Apps Package’ coz its asking for login credetials which I dont have, and I couldn’t find any option to create a new login. Is it must to download ‘Google Apps Package’ OR the update will work fine without this installation.

In all the Custom ROM guides you explain, you always refer to an old firmware and its rooting process. Suppose I have the latest official firmware XWLSW, can I still root the same by its own guide and benefit from the Custom ROM as explained in the article?
    Thank you
