Steps to update Samsung galaxy 551 phones to JPKD3 2.2 Arabic firmware:
- Initially download Samsung Galaxy I5510 JPKD3 package and save it to your PC (or Laptop) desktop. Once the file had downloaded then extract the files at the same location. Now, it will prompt you to enter the password in order to extract the files. So, enter ‘androidadvices.com’ as a password and extract the files safely on to your desktop.
- Check all the files with the below shown screenshot and if you found any of the file missing then just download the file again and extract the same.
- In the extracted files you will find the Odin tool, so open it, and run it on your computer. Now, switch OFF your phone and make sure that Odin is in activation stage.
- Now, turn ON your mobile gain to enter into the downloading mode. Just press Q + power button simultaneously to enter into the downloading mode.
- Once your phone is in downloading mode, take out the USB cable and connect PC (or Laptop) to your phone. As soon as the connection established, the COM Port Mapping block will turn into yellow color and it indicate that all the drivers have been installed successfully.
- In the Odin tool click the OPS and one package options and choose the files as shown in the screenshot below.

- Once all the files are selected as shown above click on the ‘Start’ option and it will initiate the process of updation. This updation process takes few minutes so don’t disturb the process in the middle or else you need to start the process all over again from the beginning. After finishing the updation process, your phone will restarts automatically and that is the indication of completion of updation process. So, now turn OFF your mobile and ON it back again to enter into the recovery mode. Press T + power button simultaneously to enter into the recovery mode.
- In the recovery mode various options will be available, so choose the options like wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition. In the process of updating the firmware, cache files generates to damage some of the applications on the phone so to avoid such damage we need to clean up all the cache files. Once all the cache files are deleted then reboot your phone using the option ‘reboot system now’ and here you should enter the language preference as well as Google account preference so that your phone will be back into the normal mode.
