Steps to update Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 5.0 phones to XXKPF 2.3.5 firmware:
- Initially, download the G70XXKPF zip file and place it on your desktop. Once downloaded, extract the file at the same location.
- Make sure that all the extracted files are same as the below shown files list. If you miss any of the file, please download it again and extract.
- Open the Odin tool from the extracted file and turn off your mobile and start it again to enter into the downloading mode. In order to enter into the downloading mode, press volume Down key and OK button along with the power button simultaneously . - After that, click on the PDA button and select the PDA file as shown below.

- Now, click on “Start” button to initiate the process of firmware update. This may take few minutes, so wait until the process is completed. The phone will be rebooted automatically indicating that the firmware process is completed successfully. Now choose the desired language from the Language Preferences and enter Google Account credentials.
- Now turn OFF your mobile and ON it back again to enter into the recovery mode. Press volume UP key and OK button along with the power button simultaneously to enter into the recovery mode. Please refer to the below video to find out how to turn ON your mobile in the recovery mode.

- You will find various options in the recovery mode, so choose the options like wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition. This is because, in the process of updating the firmware, some cache files will generate to damage some of the applications on the phone so to avoid such damage we need to remove all the cache files.
