Xiaomi MiPad With 7.9-Inch Retina Display, Tegra K1 SoC Launched at Rs 12,999 in India, today. The tablet will go on sale starting March 24th, no registration will be required.
Mi Pad features a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) display with 326ppi, 4:3 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
On camera front, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a non-removable 6,700mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for eight hours of music playback, 11 hours of video playback and 1,300 hours on standby mode. On the software front, the tablet runs on MIUI.
