The domestic smartphone maker, Xolo has launched many affordable smartphones in the recent times with impressive specifications targeting the budget users. Today, the brand has launched yet another low-end smartphone in its Era series called as Xolo Era X in India. The smartphone priced at Rs. 5,777 comes in Black color option and is available for purchase online exclusively via Amazon. The Era X is the slightly upgraded variant of the Xolo Era 4G that launched recently.
Coming to the specifications part, the Xolo Era X features a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it comes equipped with Spreadtrum SC9830A quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM for the lag-free and smooth performance of the device. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box and is further upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in near future.
On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and crisp selfie images. The smartphone also features front flash for stunning images even in low-light conditions. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery that has the energy to last easily for an entire day on a single charge. The design of the device is exactly similar to the Xolo Era 4G, and it also features K-class amplifier and Box speakers for enhanced audio experience. The dimensions of the device measure 145.5 x 72 x 8.45 mm and weighs around 142 grams.
