The global smartphone manufacturer, ZTE has recently launched a new budget-friendly smartphone under the ZTE Blade series called as ZTE Blade D Lux. The new smartphone will be currently available only in Vietnam and Singapore priced at 3,890,000 Vietnamese Dong (roughly $173) and 239 Singapore dollars (around $167) respectively. The ZTE Blade D Lux comes with decent specifications and will be a good competitor for other smartphones in those markets at this price tag.
Regarding specifications, the ZTE Blade D Lux features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 267ppi and 2.5D arc glass on top of it. The smartphone comes equipped with 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz accompanied with Adreno 305 GPU. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on older Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 64GB.
On the camera cordon, the device comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with flash for video chats and the crazy selfie-loving world. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 3000mAh battery that the company touts has the energy to last for an entire day on a single charge. A quick recall, ZTE has recently launched two new entry-level smartphones called as ZTE Grand X3 and ZTE Avid Plus for the US carriers priced at $130 and $110 respectively. The ZTE Grand X3 features decent specifications 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 2GB RAM, 8MP main camera, 4G-LTE support and USB Type-C port. On the other hand, the ZTE Avid Plus comes with 5-inch FWVGA display, Snapdragon 210 SoC, 5MP camera, 1GB RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
