With pride NVIDIA and ZTE today announced the ZTE Mimosa X smartphone which will be the first to power with both NVIDIA Tegra processor and Icera modem with it. Icera modem is development of NVIDIA itself since its acquisition in mid 2011.
ZTE Mimosa X SmartPhone
Mimosa X will be featuring the dual core CPU by NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor and GeForce GPU with NVIDIA Icera 450 HSPA+ modem comprises of baseband and RF processors. This modem by NVIDIA features excellent output and consumes low power. The ZTE Mimosa X mobile phone will be power packed with high end specifications which users can find it handy and to start with it will feature 4.3 inches qHD display screen with resolution standing at 960 x 540 pixels. It will be with 5 mega pixel camera on the rear and VGA camera on the front for video calls and video chat. The phone will be shipped with 4 GB internal storage and micro SD card slot to provide 32 GB capacity to it. The biggest feature to talk about this mobile phone is the introduction of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to this mobile phone which will be the first of its kind in ZTE mobile phone. Also ZTE’s other two phones which were announced yesterday namely N910 and PF200 with LTE will be released with Android 4.0 too.
Not only in the field of specifications, this phone will deliver super multimedia capabilities which includes advanced audio distribution profile with A2DP, Dolby Digital surround sound and the feature of DLNA allowing user for easy sharing of content with HD video playback and play. This phone comes equipped with two microphone and Gyro sensor will be also present in this mobile phone.
ZTE Mimosa with Icera 450 will provide at download speed of up to 21 Mbps in fading channels using the IceClear interference cancellation technology which provides faster throughput at the cell edge. The improved Release 7 features will provide ultra low latency network response consuming less power.
Mimosa X will be showcased at Mobile World Congress event to be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 27 till March 1 2012 and this phone is slated to be released in quarter two this year. ZTE stall at Mobile World Congress will be filled with list of visitors trying to get their hang on with various devices like Mimosa X, N910 and PF200. Also Mimosa X can be experienced at NVIDIA booth too.
