Acer has announced the Liquid X2 smartphone. It features 4000mAH battery and three SIM card slots. Acer Liquid X2 has a 5.5 inch display and powered by 64-bit octa-core processor. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the front and back of the handset. The new phone also comes with plenty of Acer’s own software, designed to improve on Android.
Acer also announced the Liquid X2’s Quick Touch flip case with a vertical slot in between, which gives access to music controls, weather, time and other functions without opening the flip cover. Acer says the smartphone is made for those who travel a lot. Not all the specifications are known for the handset.
Acer says the Liquid X2 will arrive in Asia first, starting in August. The smartphone is expected to be priced around $200 off-contract, though it could cost a bit more at first.
