The Taiwanese company Acer has unveiled four new affordable smartphones today at IFA event called Acer Liquid Z630, Z630S and Liquid Z530, Z530S. While the Liquid Z630/Z630S sports a large phablet-sized display, Liquid Z530/Z530S is more a selfie-centric device.
Acer Liquid Z630/Z630S
It features a 5.5-inch HD 720p Zero Air Gap Display and comes powered MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core chipset paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage and microSD card support for expansion. It sports an 8MP camera both on front and back of the device. It comes packed with a long lasting 4000mAh battery, and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port.
There is also an upgraded version of Liquid Z630 named Z630S with an 64-bit octa-core processor 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. All other specification are similar to Liquid Z630
Acer Liquid Z530/Z530S
Acer Liquid Z530 features a 5-inch HD display and comes powered by a lesser Mediatek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with 1GB/2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage. As it is, a selfie-centric device the camera is similar to Z630 with 8MP on both front and rear side with LED flash and different photo modes like Gourmet Mode, touch to capture and Smile Shutter to capture every moment. Z530 also comes packed with a 4000mAh battery out of the box, and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB port.The Liquid Z530S will come with a faster octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The Liquid Z630 will be available in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region in September, starting from EUR 199 ($223). The Acer Liquid Z530 will be available in October in the same market, starting at EUR 149 ($167). The company is silent on availability in US markets.
