Along with Acer Predator 8 gaming tablet, the company has also announced a new Acer gaming smartphone called Predator 6. Predator 6 will come powered by MediaTek 6797 Helio X20 deca-core processor that is the world’s first chipset to feature ten cores. It also features 6-inch display, 4GB RAM for better gaming experience and sports a 21MP rear camera.
Predator 6 will also sport a design similar to Predator 8 with four front speakers for extra surround sound. With these high-end specifications and processor, Acer is sure to give a tough fight to the market leaders. Though pricing has not been revealed with such high-end specifications, it may be priced around $500.
As this device is specially designed for gamers, they can enjoy gaming with lag free experience. The deca-core Helio X20 is built on a 20nm process with two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and the remaining four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz. According to mediatex, the processor would be available from December that is when we can expect the phone to be available in the market.
