After LG G3, Oppo Find 7 and Vivo it’s time for a smaller company called Alcatel to release a device with QHD (1440 x 2560) display. Alcatel One Touch D820 went through the GFXBench and a list of specifications has come to lime light. Alcatel is a Smart phone maker that is owned by the Chinese company TCL. Alcatel has released many smart phones and trying to get a good reputation in the Smart phone market and compete against all the big companies.
According to the list, the Alcatel One Touch D820 will be featuring a 4.6 inch display with whooping 2K display and is said to run the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating system out of the box. The device will be powered by a quad core MediaTek Mt6595 processor with the combination of Cortex-A7 and Cortex-A17 cores. The device has the support for LTE and this processor can clock up to 2.2 GHz.
The Alcatel One Touch D820 will have a 7 MP camera along with a front facing camera capable of taking 4K videos. Moreover these specs are from GFXBench that generally underestimates the resolutions of the camera so the camera used here should be at least an 8 MP sensor. Moreover the screen size shown in the list is very less, since the QHD screen for a 4.6 inch device will take some time to come. If is it is really a 4.6 inch screen then we can see the pixel density rocketing up to 638 ppi.
It is a bit difficult to believe that the front facing camera will be able to shoot a 4K video, so we cannot take all these specifications to be final once. We need to wait until the device is officially unveiled by the company or until there is an official word from them. We will be seeing more news on this device in the future. If all these specs are true this devices is going to be very high device and many should be praying that these news should be true.
