Will 2015 ring in the OS agnostic devices? While time will only tell you the answer, but for now all thanks to the Alcatel which has come with the smartphone range which comes with the goodness of 3 Operating systems in 1 phone which are Firefox OS, Windows Phone and Android. This device is all set for the display in the annual Consumer Electronics Show, which will take place in Las Vegas, between the 6th and 9th January. This range of smartphones is dubbed as “PIXI 3”. PIXI 3 range of smartphones comes in 4 different screen sizes which almost covers whole gamut of popular smartphone series which are 3.5”, 4”, 4.5”, and 5”.
These smartphones from Alcatel One Touch will surely create a new segment with multiple OS in One single smartphone. We are also hearing rumors that XiaoMi is also working on such smartphones which can support multiple OS like Windows and Android.
While the complete specs and features is still unknown, this device seems to be one of the highlight devices for this year’s CES. What’s more exciting is that all the devices will be supporting the 4G LTE networks except the 3.5 incher which comes with the 3G data connection only due to price limitation. The exact list of specs and features is still not known, once its available, we will keep you posted about the same. Alcatel will also be launching bunch of other smart devices in the CES 2015 event which we will be revealing about in coming days to come. Android smart wearable from Alcatel is also on the cards and we will be getting to see about the same in this year’s CES event.
