Along with the high-end Alcatel Idol 4 and Idol 4s, the brand has also upgraded its Pop lineup by launching Alcatel Pop 4, Pop 4 Plus and Pop 4s smartphones at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. The smartphones will be placed in entry-level to mid-range category and will be showcased at the MWC 2016 at their respective booth along with the Idol series smartphones. All the three smartphones will come with four back panel color options- Hairline-Brushed, Leather, Wood and Baby Skin and are also all bundled with a JBL headset.

Alcatel Pop 4
The Pop 4 is an entry-level device and comes with all the basic specifications required in a smartphone. The Pop 4 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and comes equipped with Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and can be further expanded to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. On the camera front, the device features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2500mAh battery that easily take you through the day considering the low-end specifications.
Alcatel Pop 4 Plus
The Pop 4 Plus comes with a slightly larger 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display and offers a pixel density of 267ppi. It comes powered by same Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone comes with higher 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and also includes an externalSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. Rest of the specifications are exactly similar to the Alcatel Pop 4.
Alcatel Pop 4s
The Pop 4s is best among all the devices, and it comes with more than decent features. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 401ppi as pixel density and Gorilla Glass laid on top for protection. Under the hood, it packs powerful MediaTek MT6755M Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM for lag-free and smooth performance. The smartphone also supports dual sim dual standby and also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has 16GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 64GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, EIS, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie clicks.
