Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has been in the news for a time now is going to be officially launched on 13th of November this year in Malaysia. The device comes with a screen size of 6 inches which can also be called as a phablet because of the size. The Galaxy Note 4 came with the same 5.7 inch display as its predecessor, but we have seen a big push on the Nexus 6 as it stands at a whooping 5.96 inche as its predecessor was at 4.95 inch. This device also comes with a finger print scanner on its back providing more security.
Although the device is huge for a smartphone, it has very thin bezels and comes with IPS-NEO panel that is claimed to produce better blacks and give better viewing angles than the normal IPS displays that we use. The 6 inch screen has resolutions of 1080p, and the device will run the KitKat out of the box. To power the device there is a Hi-Silicon Kirin 925 Octa-Core processor (Quad-core Cortex-A15 @ 1.8 GHz + Quad-Core Cortex-A7 @ 1.3 GHz).
Huawei Ascend Mate 7 will be coming in two different variants, one being a 16 GB variant with 2 GB of RAM and other with 3 GB of RAM on 32 GB of storage. It will have Sony’s BSI camera on the back and will be accompanied with 5 MP of front facing camera. The device is a 4G variant, with Cat 6 4G LTE, giving speeds up to 300Mbps and also has the other connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, etc.
Ascend Mate 7 is just 7.9 mm thick and inside that it pack a 4100 mAh battery that can last up to two days. The device is going to be launched on 13th of November, and we are pretty excited to see how the company prices the device.
