Asphalt is one of the games which keeps the gamers interested with newer versions on timely basis, and this time the makers Gameloft have decided to follow the trend that others have set – come up with a Free version. Recently, the popular game Plants vs Zombies 2 was put up on the Play Store and it was available for free. Similarly, the Dead Trigger 2 for Android was put up on the Play Store for free. Now, the Asphalt 8: Airborne game is available for free and you can download that directly from the Play Store. It has got a lot of interesting stuff, including the new levels, careers and a lot of changes in the settings. The earlier version of Asphalt game had some issues with colors on some smartphones, and that has been fixed too.
The name itself suggests that the Asphalt 8 Airborne is more about the aerial stunts than the gravity driving. There are 47 high-performance cars with most of them being newly included, and one would be able to select from the models like Lamborghini Veneno, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari FXX and Pagani Zonda R. The game includes new locations, and these include Venice, French Guiana, Iceland, the Nevada Desert.
Career Mode – The Asphalt 8: Airborne has got a Career mode where you get to see eight seasons and 180 events with the stunning visuals. We have actually tried out and played the earlier versions a lot, and the new one won’t be disappointing in any way.
Real-time Multiplayer – A total of 8 real opponents can play along with you with the simultaneous multiplayer action, and you can challenge friends to asynchronously race in one of the several cars.
The support has been extended to several other Android smartphones, although it’s mostly the high-end devices with a dedicated GPU which might be able to flawlessly play this game, and we have tested this already on the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it was performing well with the excellent graphics included.
We are not sure if this game would be available for free for a limited time, or is for always. But if you wanted to enhance the experience and purchase items, there are some in-app purchases available.
