After the Taiwanese company Asus had unveiled its Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) a few weeks back, it has now made it officially available in Thailand with all the details and specifications revealed on the official website. According to the specifications listed, the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG will be coming with dual SIM support and the device went for sale in Thailand few days back. This new Fonepad 7 has a 7 inch display as its name suggests and also comes with 2 MP rear facing camera. It also has the new Zen UI that is similar to the latest Zen series smartphones.
Asus Fonepad 7 will flaunt a 7 inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixel density and will come with Anti-Fingerprint Coating and it will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Operating System with the Zen UI (User interface) on top. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor coupled with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. The battery given to this device is at 3950 mAh on the back to power it.
The Asus Fonepad 7 has a 2 MP rear facing camera capable of 720p video recording and it is accompanied by a 0.3 MP front facing camera. The on-board memory of the device is at 4 GB / 8 GB that can be extended via microSD card slot. The connectivity option includes, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and weights 290 grams with 10.7 mm thickness.

Asus Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) comes in four different colours options White, Red, Blue, and Black. The device is priced at Rs. 7,670 and is now available in Thailand for 4190 Thai Bahts and there was no word from the company on the global rollout of the device.
